A diesel heater for hot tubs and jacuzzis, also known as a bioheater, heats the water without you having to burn wood. The burner heats the water via a heat exchanger, while the built-in circulation pump lets the water flow through the hot tub. This way, the tub heats up evenly and you can easily maintain the temperature, even when it's cold outside.
Our diesel heater runs on regular diesel and biodiesel. Thanks to the built-in 50-litre tank, you don't need to keep refilling, and via the app you can set your desired temperature remotely. You come home to a warm hot tub, without smoke, without a wood supply and without having to clean out ash. Handy if your municipality places restrictions on wood burning.
Compared to a wood-fired heater, a diesel heater is faster and more consistent, and compared to electric heating you don't need a heavy-duty power connection. The heater is suitable for new hot tubs and as an upgrade for an existing wood-fired hot tub.
Frequently asked questions
Diesel or biodiesel? Both. Biodiesel burns cleaner and smells less, regular diesel is available everywhere.
How much does a diesel heater consume? Approximately 2 litres per hour at full power. A full 50-litre tank is good for around 25 hours of heating.
How quickly does the hot tub heat up? A 1,500-litre hot tub reaches 38 °C in approximately 2.5 to 3 hours when it's 10 °C outside.
Do I need a heavy-duty power connection? No, the heater runs on a regular power outlet (230 V) and itself only consumes 180 W.
