Simple weekly treatment

  • 11. Shake the AquaFinesse bottle before use.
  • 2. Add the prescribed amount to the spa water using the measuring cup (for the correct dosage, see the label on the back of the bottle).

  • 3. Place an SWE disinfecting tablet in the dispenser (chlorine floater) and let it float in the hot tub.

  • 4. Open all valves and jets. Let the pumps run at approximately full power for one minute.
  • 5. Rinse the filters with clean water, or clean them with aquafinaat filter cleaning tablets.

  • We recommend refreshing the water at least once every 2 to 3 months.

As soon as AquaFinesse is added to the water, it starts to loosen and remove biofilm from surfaces. Biofilm is a slimy layer that forms on surfaces in your hot tub, such as in the pipes and on the walls. Bacteria can hide and multiply within this layer. It essentially acts as a protective hiding place for bacteria. With just a minimal amount of disinfectant and disinfecting tablets, the bacteria are effectively tackled.

Thanks to the special technology, remnants of the biofilm clump together and are carried away through the filter system. Meanwhile, the bacteria themselves are effectively killed by the disinfecting tablets.

  • Water care liquid 2L (x2)
The foundation of hot tub water maintenance. This liquid ensures soft, clean and fresh water and removes biofilm from the pipes.
  • Tri-chlor tablets
A small addition of chlorine for optimal disinfection. Works together with AquaFinesse to kill bacteria and keep the water hygienic.
  • Practical measuring cup
Handy measuring cup to easily add the right amount of AquaFinesse liquid to your hot tub.
  1. Shake the AquaFinesse bottle well before use.
  2. Measure the correct amount of liquid with the included measuring cup and add it to the hot tub water. (The exact dosage is stated on the bottle's label.)
  3. Place one tablet per week in the chlorine floater and let it float in the hot tub.
  4. Turn on all jets and pumps briefly (about 1 minute at full power) so the product is distributed evenly.

We recommend refreshing the water at least once every 2 to 3 months.

I'm using AquaFinesse, but my spa water is cloudy. What's going wrong?

If you haven't pre-treated your spa with a Spa Clean tablet first, the water may become somewhat cloudy during the first few weeks of the AquaFinesse treatment. This is usually not a problem: it actually shows that AquaFinesse is doing its job by thoroughly cleaning pipes and surfaces. This so-called conditioning process typically doesn't take longer than a few weeks. For new spas, where there's barely any biofilm present yet, this can even resolve itself within a few days.

Is pre-treating new water with Spa Clean necessary?

Yes, it is strongly recommended to first treat the water with an AquaFinesse Spa Clean tablet before starting the weekly AquaFinesse routine.
For a new spa, a Spa Clean tablet is usually not necessary, as there is no biofilm present yet. In existing spas, biofilm is often already present in the pipes. The Spa Clean tablet thoroughly removes this, so you can start with a "clean slate". If you skip this step, the water may become cloudy in the first few weeks as AquaFinesse still loosens that old biofilm.
