More information about the diesel heater
Why choose diesel over wood?
The biggest advantage of a diesel heater is its convenience and fast, reliable heating. Especially for rental use or events, it's important that the hot tub reaches temperature quickly and is easy to operate. Unlike a wood-fired heater, you don't need to light a fire, keep a stock of wood, or continuously tend the flames. For private use too, diesel heating is an excellent choice if you value speed and comfort above all.
How much diesel do you need to heat your hot tub?
To heat a hot tub from 8°C to 38°C, only around 3 litres of diesel are needed on average. The built-in diesel tank has a capacity of 50 litres. This means that with one full tank, you can heat your hot tub up to the full temperature about 16 times.
Can you smell or hear the heater, and is it smoke-free?
A diesel heater does make some noise and produces exhaust fumes, but in practice you'll barely notice this. Only during start-up might you briefly notice some smoke and a slight diesel smell. Once the heater is running, smoke and odour are hardly noticeable anymore. The noise level is also limited and is generally not experienced as bothersome.
Can I connect a diesel heater to my hot tub?
In many cases, this is definitely possible. Our diesel heater heats the water via special connections that we can install on almost any hot tub. When submitting your request, please send along a few photos of your hot tub. We're happy to review the possibilities and advise you on the best solution.
