Dit product is verkrijgbaar met een warmtepomp, waarvoor geen krachtstroomaansluiting nodig is en die eenvoudig te bedienen is via een app. Daarnaast is er ook een versie met een ingebouwde elektrische verwarming, die met één druk op de knop wordt ingeschakeld en beschikbaar is in 3 of 6 kW.

Difference between hot tub and jacuzzi

The difference between a hot tub and a jacuzzi is smaller than you might think. Both offer relaxation with massage jets, mood lighting and luxurious extras. The biggest difference lies in the shape: hot tubs are often round, while jacuzzis often have a square or rectangular shape. With us, you can also choose a 2-person jacuzzi in an oval shape. As for the finish, you can choose either thermowood or synthetic material. The possible heating methods for a jacuzzi at Qrest are also the same: hybrid, wood-fired or electric.

At Qrest, we offer various options for heating your jacuzzi, so you can enjoy ultimate comfort in your own way. Choose the convenience of heating your jacuzzi electrically for a quick, efficient and effortless warm-up. Do you prefer the rustic charm of a traditional heating system? Then a jacuzzi with a wood-fired heater is the ideal choice, adding a warm, natural atmosphere.

For ultimate flexibility, we also offer the hybrid jacuzzi, which lets you switch between electric or wood-fired heating, allowing you to create the perfect wellness experience, fully tailored to your wishes.

Additional information and tips for your jacuzzi.

To maintain the water quality in your jacuzzi, we recommend using AquaFinesse in combination with a filter system. This keeps the water clean and clear, without you having to worry about it every day. Replace the water approximately every 2-3 months and make sure to clean the jacuzzi thoroughly before adding new water.

The heating time of a jacuzzi depends on various factors, such as the outdoor temperature, the starting temperature of the water, the insulation of the jacuzzi and the heating method. A wood-fired jacuzzi has an average heating time of about 3.5 hours. For an electrically heated jacuzzi, this depends on the power of the heating element:
– 3 kW: approximately 16 hours
– 6 kW: approximately 5 hours
– 7.5 kW heat pump: 5 hours

The great advantage of an electrically heated jacuzzi is that you can easily keep the water at temperature, so your jacuzzi is always ready for immediate use.

The maintenance of the exterior of your jacuzzi depends on the chosen material. Synthetic walls are low-maintenance and can easily be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent. Thermowood is durable, but looks its best if you treat it annually with a suitable oil or stain. Pine wood requires a bit more attention; clean it regularly and apply a protective layer of oil or stain once or twice a year to protect it against weather influences.

If you choose a wood-fired jacuzzi, you only need one 220V power connection for the SPA systems, the filter and the lighting. The filter is powered directly from the jacuzzi itself.

If you choose 3kW electric heating, you need two power outlets. With 6kW built-in heating / heat pump, only one connection is always needed.

Which electrical connection is exactly needed depends on the power of the built-in heater:

– 3 kW heating element: 220 V standard connection for the heating element + 220 V for the filter, SPA systems and lighting (so two power outlets in total).

– 6 kW heating element: 380 V (three-phase power) – one power outlet.

– Heat pump: 220 V (standard connection) – one power outlet.
