The great advantage of a heat pump is its energy efficiency: this smart system uses much less electricity than a standard electric heater. Thanks to its low energy consumption of 1.5 kW, no heavy-duty power connection is required. The heating time is approximately 5 °C per hour, which is comparable to the heating time of our built-in 6 kW electric heater. What's more, the heat pump continues to function down to an outdoor temperature of -12 °C, making it excellently suited to the Dutch climate.
