Wood-fired or electric: which do you choose?

A wood-fired sauna is the king of atmosphere. The crackling fire, the natural warmth and the scent of burning wood create that true, authentic sauna experience. Prefer convenience? Then an electric sauna heater is ideal. Simply set the desired temperature and the heater does the rest. Many models can even be controlled remotely, so your sauna can start warming up before you step in. Wood-fired for atmosphere and experience, electric for comfort and ease. Both have their own advantages. Which suits you best?

Is a quote really free and non-binding?

Yes. You put together your outdoor sauna and download the quote immediately afterwards. You're not committed to anything.

How long does it take to heat up?

The average heating time for an outdoor sauna is between 30 and 45 minutes. The exact heating time depends on the size of the sauna, the type of heater, and of course how warm you want the sauna to be.

What do I need for installation?

A crane is needed to place an outdoor sauna. The crane and the associated costs are not included in the delivery. Would you rather not worry about this yourself? Then we're happy to arrange the crane for you. We'll take care of the contact and planning with the crane company, so everything aligns well with the delivery of your sauna. We charge €75 for this service, excluding the cost of the crane.

How much maintenance does an outdoor sauna require?

To keep the exterior of your sauna looking good and well protected, we recommend treating the wood 1-2 times a year with a suitable stain or oil. Do you have a wood-fired sauna heater? Then regularly empty the ash tray and keep the inside of the heater clean. You can clean the inside of the sauna with a damp cloth.
