Jacuzzi vs hot tub: what's the difference?

In practice, a jacuzzi and a hot tub are quite similar. The difference lies mainly in the design and overall look. A hot tub traditionally has a round shape and is often associated with wood-fired heating. A jacuzzi is usually square and typically electrically heated. Nowadays, these differences are increasingly blending together. For example, a hot tub can be equipped with massage jets, bubbles, ambient lighting, a sand filter and other extras, just like a jacuzzi. In our range you'll also find round jacuzzis and two-person jacuzzis. There's also plenty of choice when it comes to heating. Both our hot tubs and jacuzzis are available with various heating options, such as wood-fired, electric, heat pump, biodiesel heater or a hybrid version. Ultimately, it mainly comes down to which shape, look and heating method suits you best.

Is a quote really free and non-binding?

Yes. You put together your jacuzzi and download the quote right after. You're not committed to anything.

Do I need a separate power group?

A connection is needed for the pump and filter system. For an electric or hybrid heater, we recommend a dedicated power group; whatever is needed for your situation, we'll include in the quote.

How much maintenance does a jacuzzi require?

Expect to rinse the filter once a week and keep the water balanced with the products from our webshop. At delivery, we'll explain how to do that and what you'll need.

Can a jacuzzi stay outside all year round?

Yes. The models are insulated and designed for outdoor use; in winter, the cover keeps the heat in. We do recommend a flat, load-bearing surface. We'll help you think that through when preparing the quote.
